Audience creation for Facebook and Instagram

Facebook does not allow you to create audiences based on MAC addresses, so the only working method is retargeting based on phone numbers.

To create a Facebook audience, hashed (encrypted) phone numbers that previously passed authorization on the network of the owner of the Wi-Fi zone are used and based on this data, advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram can be created and targeted.

How to cook an audience.

Go to the Analytics section of the flyAir service, select the data segment that interests you and then apply. The interface will display the total number of unique MAC addresses for the selected period, new unique MAC addresses and found phone numbers. next to it is an icon for downloading this data to your device.

After downloading the file, you can use it to create an Audience.

Log into your business Facebook account at https://business.facebook.com and go to the Audiences section.

Next, Create a Custom Audience

Download the hashed file

Specify the data type - "Phone Number"

Make sure everything is correct and click "Download and Create"

Data will be uploaded and Audience creation will begin. Processing takes about 30 minutes, this time depends on the amount of data. After processing, the interface will display how many matches to your data were found and you can create campaigns and use this Audience for retargeting.
